Nov 3, 2006 Reddish brown. Aroma is toasty with notes of caramel, nuts and also quite a bit of fruit. Carbonation was a little high, I agree. An interesting Oktoberfest.

Nov 30, 2003 Brown with red highlights; wonderfully sticky lace. A little too carbonated, but it had some really nice chewy textures. Roasty and toasty and a little nutty. Had some brown ale qualities. Rather easy to quaff, but didn't really keep my interest.
