A super balanced pale ale, with the hops being just the right amount to jump out on your palate, lots of nice acidity, mellow grapefruit and ornage zest, with a honey sweet maltiness. Very enjoyable DarkElf (2681), La Jolla, California, USA

This pale ale is sweet and fruity initially, with gentle toasty malt and moderately bitter hops jumping in for the finish. The delicate nose features a modest maltiness and some light fruit, but very little in the way of hops. Dark golden color shows a very slight haze and no carbonation bubbles. Light-to-medium body, fairly crisp in the finish. The off-white head starts off small and fades into oblivion. A basic American Pale Ale, easy to drink like all their other beers, but just a bit too timid to rate higher than average. Crit (2405), New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada
