This was another very well done beer. A super balanced pale ale, with the hops being just the right amount to jump out on your palate, lots of nice acidity, mellow grapefruit and ornage zest, with a honey sweet maltiness. Very enjoyable

(Draft: Bend Brewing Company in Bend, OR) Well, it seems like everything I taste at this brewery is light and inoffensive. This pale ale is sweet and fruity initially, with gentle toasty malt and moderately bitter hops jumping in for the finish. The delicate nose features a modest maltiness and some light fruit, but very little in the way of hops. Dark golden color shows a very slight haze and no carbonation bubbles. Light-to-medium body, fairly crisp in the finish. The off-white head starts off small and fades into oblivion. A basic American Pale Ale, easy to drink like all their other beers, but just a bit too timid to rate higher than average.

On tap at Bend Brewing. Poured a light amber-copper body with a small white head. Crisp, hoppy, lemon, citrus, biscuit aroma. Finished clean and a little astringent yet sort of dull. Not too bad, though.

Clear amber. Aroma is the usual grapefruit hops with some caramel. Another textbook PNW APA.
