It has none of the bland aftertaste or aroma of most availible domestic beers. Dominion Ale is a definite experience and is by far my favorite domestic lager. Shenzer (48), Ontario, Canada

Just going by memory here, but I do recall really enjoying this beer. It went down easy and when I got to the final drop I had no qualms about opening another. It doesn't really have anything out of the ordinary, it's just "good". steamingpipe (1), Val Verde, USA does not count | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Sep 11, 2006 This is one of my favorite beers when letting off steam or just hanging out with the pissants. Thankfully this beer is now availavle in Val Verde. dirkules (613), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 7, 2004 This is the best Lager!! It pours a crisp light yellow and has a smooth Malt with enough hop to keep you coming back. No over riding wheat or skunk to speak of, and a clean water fresh taste makes this beer a pleasure for the senses. Vertical Bacon Strips (903), Edmonton, Alberta, Canada
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 14, 2009 Straight up the best lager out of the marintime provinces. Standard solid gold beer with tons of little bubbles, very smooth, creamy white crown and very impressive lacing. Good retention too. No lack of aroma here - quite sweet with over ripe nectarines or peaches, some pee - don’t matter though ’cause this is a solid brew. My description for taste doesn’t entirely reflect how much I enjoyed this beer - notable background bitterness throughout, cardboard malt and a solid wheat taste. More tongue drying bitterness has made this waaaaay more bitter than I thought it would be. Some sourness and alcohol as well - contributes to the nice stomach heat I got. I like! Mouthfeel is pretty plain and a bit harsh but I enjoyed the dry, dry bitter finish that left me parched. Excellent unassuming brew that really surprised me. Is it 3.7? As far as Canadian lagers go, it has to be. Don’t confuse this for being better than a better than average Belgian ale or something like that - for me it just excels in its class.
