stefanberggren (135), Madison, Wisconsin, USA Jan 26, 2004 Holy Hops Batman ! Wow this is something to savor if you are a hop head. Full of citrusy cascade bitterness and aroma. Cloudy due to protien suspension from dry hopping. Nice IPA and when I finished my glass I was ready to place my order for another. Warning this is not for the weak of hop heart, only hop heads need apply...
JPDIPSO (4344), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA Aug 19, 2007 Lightly hazed amber to light copper color. Smaller off-white head. Full fresh hops aromas with mild grapefruit and citric zest. Hints of pale malts in the background. LIght caramel start which is ushered aside by the fresh hops. Grapefruit with just a touch of light fruit. Some what light in feel, but not to overpowering to make it seem thin. Cornfield (4412), Oak Forest, Illinois, USA Dec 28, 2006 This poured a slightly hazed orange-gold body with a thick white head. Nice lacing. The aroma begins with a light grapefruit and lemon zest smell followed quickly by a light sweet caramel. The flavor balances both elements well. The finish is a soft citric bitterness. Very sessionable.

Bent River Brewing Company, Moline, IL
Illini08 (519), Raleigh, North Carolina, USA Dec 20, 2006 Updated: Dec 27, 2006On tap at the brewpub last night. $3.50 for a pint. Hazy orange pour with a small head. Aroma wasn’t too strong (maybe it’s just because I was at a smokey bar) but I picked up some sweet, citrusy notes. Nice smooth hoppy taste to it. Not too strong and decently balanced by some malt. This would be a good session beer. GeneralGao (2628), Iowa City, Iowa, USA Dec 15, 2006 Updated: Dec 23, 2006Draught at the brewpub. Clear orange color with thin white head. Floral hop nose, but not as aromatic as I expected a dry hopped ale to be. Nice sprucy hop flavor, but again, more subtle than I anticipated. Not much flavor otherwise with a thin mouth feel. TheEnemy (387), Chicago, USA Nov 22, 2006 On tap.
Pours a hazy orange-gold with not much head to speak of. Bits of lace cling to the sides of the glass. Solid cascadey-flowery-citrusy aroma. Flavor starts with a solid wall of hop bitterness that gives way just enough to allow some floral tones and maybe a hint of malt. Fairly solid palate with a long lingering hop bitter aftertase.. A hophead beer; not as well-balanced as I would have liked.
