Jet black, medium off-white head this is moderately diminishing. HUGE roasted coffee aroma and flavor, unlike any I've ever experienced. Very creamy texture. Closest thing to carbonated coffee I've ever tried. Coffee haters, avoid this like the plague. Otherwise, get yourself to Moline Illinois to experience this first hand.

Pours near black with a fully receding mocha head. Aroma of coffee, roast malt, dark chocolate. Tastes of coffee and roast. Full bodied with lively carbonation. Potentially the most roasty coffeeish stout I’ve had yet. A bit too much roast for me.

tap. Pours not quite black, but a very dark ruby, little head. Aroma of coffee and chocolate. Flavor is coffee up front, with dark fruit. Grain alcohol comes in when it warms, kind of unpleasant. Finishes slightly bitter and smooth. A bit watery. Decent.

Nose has a little bit of black cherry, coffee and dark chocolate, with some plum-like dark fruit notes, with faint amounts of roast. Robust, heavy, lightly sweet with coffee and cream and chocolate notes all over this beer throughout the drink. A decadent and unique dessert beer that doesn’t get carried away with the sweetness. Very good.

Draft. Dark brew. Aroma is of intense freshly ground coffee. Flavor is a nice roasty malt with more coffee. Nice sweet finish. Great beer.

Draft at the brewpub. Dark pour with brown edges. Very roasty, coffee aroma and flavor. Roasty malt and a bit of sweetness to it as well. Tasty beer, even though I’m not a huge fan of coffee.
