Commercial Description:
Similar to the Pale Ale with slightly less hop character. Accounts in Vermont can purchase Private Label and name it what ever they want. The beer is available on draft only with 2 exceptions for Basin Harbor and the Equinox both have it bottled for them.

(Draft @ Bentley’s) Quite hoppy and fresh...Pours light coppery gold with about 1/2" of fairly foamy white head. Aroma is fruity and a little flowery, some breadiness. Mouthfeel a little light but not watery, slightly prickly. Nice fairly heavy rings of lacing. Flavor is quite fruity and fresh. Light floral tone. Yeasty and bready freshness. Medium-light bitter bite. Not bad.

With a name like "Ballerina Ale," I was expecting this beer to be a let-down. To the contrary, this was a very enjoyable brew--one of the best in Beverly, MA, to be sure! It reminds of Killian’s Irish Red, with much more complexity. The aroma is of cinnamon and caramel, looks like Killian’s, and tastes like it smells. A very good brew with what feels like a 6.5+ ABV. Enjoy!

Draft at Max’s in Baltimore under the name "Otter Creek Reserve". The ABV was listed at 6%... Beautiful, deep, crystal clear amber ale with a small, creamy, white head. Excellent retention. Malty, citrusy aroma with notes of dried flowers, lemon zest, English toffee and pineapple with a hint of juniper. The flavor is very well-balanced with a nice malt backbone. Lots of toffee and caramel followed closely behind by a heaping portion of citrusy, lightly bitter hops. Medium-bodied with moderate carbonation. Lengthy, dry, grassy finish. Not usually much of an Otter Creek fan, but I like this one.

Light orange with a small white head. Malty aroma with a touch of hops. Medium bodied, ends without much fanfare.

The most beguiling, apple-cidery hue leads to... one of the most disappointing brews I’ve had of late. Not really enamored of Otter Creek, but this is clearly their worst, with a very slight sour nose, simple and ineffective sweet/bitter flavor with little wheat/hop character, and a sour finish. Avoid.
