Cask conditioned at The Wellington, Birmingham. Black with malty head. Deep burnt chocolatey malt with an overlaid, sweetish toffee caramel flavour, quite honeyed. Good mix of the sweet notes and the burnt, darkly roasted malts. Good stuff.

Cask conditioned - handpump - Out Of The Vaults Leicester. A black coloured porter with a bubbly tan head. The aroma has chocolate notes and is fairly sweet. The taste also has notes of chocolate with warm milk, and a touch of sweetness. If anything served a bit too warm but still shows good character.
