Mouthfeel is watery but with some creamyness to it. Dry end and very bitter. Hoppy with some malt at the front and a bitter toffee back. Good. downender (1732), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England Sep 29, 2007 Cask-conditioned at the Royal Oak, Bath 28/9/07. This was previously brewed at 4.5% ABV. An amber bitter with a slight, off-white head. The aroma started with a touch of malt before some earthy hops. The flavour was also slightly malty before a bitter finish. Not the most memorable of beers, but perfectly drinkable.
