Commercial Description:
Cask; Seasonal - Autumn.
A dark, golden-amber autumn ale. It isn't too dry and leaves a pleasant, lingering bitterness in the mouth.

Cask in the market porter. Alround rating: Pale honey malt, grassy hop, fairly minerally and lightly sulphury water character. Acht its another one of those.

Cask @ 3 Judges. Clear amber colour, off-white head. Aroma is slightly fruity. Favour of biscuit malts. Bitter and dry finish.

Cask handpull at Market Porter, Borough Market. Chestnut colour, lasting beige head. Smells of pork, but the beer is quite good. Pork crackling and apple sauce. Yeast pork aroma, good condition, ok malts and good earthy hops. Different and porky, plus the hops are good.

A Mes rate: cask at the Market Porter. Copper coloured with a decent off white head. Eggy, sulphorous nose with a slight metallic tinge. Nothing to fall in love with. Odd flavour. Nothing particularly offensive but I just can’t get to grips with it. Lots of fruity malt. Faint cardboard. Just a lick of bitterness. Strange mineral note in the finish. Odd, not unpleasant but nothing to get excited about.

Amber in colour with a rusk-like malt aroma. Flavours are fruity malts with some Burtonesque sulphur. A decent enough traditional bitter.
