Amber coloured with a fruity aroma. Dry hop finish. harrisoni (5474), Ashford, Kent, England Sep 4, 2005 Gravity cask at Maidstone BF. Pale gold, very hoppy with citrus flavours. However this is a bit metallic and the lemon fruit is a bit soapy. Lets it down SilkTork (3950), Rochester, Kent, England Nov 14, 2004 Updated: Oct 4, 2005Nov, 2004. Rising Sun, Sevenoaks. Pale bitter with a dusty finish. Some sharp notes indicating that this is not in ideal condition. Shame, because the beers in this pub are usually excellent. [2.7]
Sept, 2005. Maidstone Beer Festival. Butterscotch. Almost, and nearly and then maybe diacetyl. A little lemon soapy. Has taste like an uncomfortable Hallertau and Goldings mix. Not my thing really. [2.1]
DanielBrown (1919), Birmingham (via Leicester), West Midlands, England Mar 6, 2004 Hand pump at the Old Joint Stock, Birmingham. Pleasant looking orange/copper bitter, with a nice fruity aroma. Lots going on here - orange and floral notes, some hops towards the finish and a nice lingering bitterness. Not overpowering, but light, soft and refreshing.
