Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Royal Oak Crick. A dark brown beer with ahint of red. The aroma is more berry fruity than nutty although I’m told hazelnuts are used in the mash. The taste is, however, nutty and quite warming with a hint of coffee and chocolate. A tasty enough beer but at this strength and style, needs more body.
