Cask Handpump at the Ship & Mitre, Liverpool 16/06/2002 Straw golden coloured and hoppy. Slightly dry finish which is sharp on the palate.

Hand pulled at the Old Joint Stock, Birmingham. Fair enough I didn’t twig that this was a cask conditioned Lager, I thought it was a Golden, the style which this brewery most frequently puts out. However I do know that I didn’t enjoy this: thin, flat, with a flavour that encompassed cheap wine and cheap ingredients. Couldn’t finish the pint.
