gunnfryd (2839), Kristiansand, Norway Oct 26, 2008 Bottle. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma is honey, heather, malt. Flavour is sweet, honey, heather, malt, floral. I´m influenced by the fact that i don´t like honey and this beer had too much for me. KimJohansen (4299), Copenhagen V, Denmark Sep 9, 2008 Clear golden with tiny white head. Very sweet aroma with loads of honey and heather. Flavor likewise that ends sweet. oh6gdx (6460), Vaasa, Finland Aug 31, 2008 Bottled@Chris O Post GBBF Tasting. Honeyish golden colour, mediumsized white foamy head. Aroma is honey, grass and some mild earthyness. Flavour is honey, cookies, some mild notes of flowery hops yngwie (3762), Kristiansand, Norway Aug 14, 2008 Bottle. It pours a clear golden body under a small white head. Heavy on heather honey in the aroma, with some malt and a floral touch. I’m quite fond of heather honey, but I find the level in the aroma of this beer to be too high, it’s more or less hiding it’s beery qualities. The same problem is present in the flavor, but not to the same level. There’s some more malt detected, and it has a decent bitterness. Else it’s honey and a little floral touch, as well as sweetness. Medium body. Sweet, honeyish finish. I’m not very impressed with this one, but at least it’s drinkable, and it’s a bold move from the brewery. (080814)
