OleR (1380), Oslo, Norway Mar 25, 2007 Bottle. Thanks to Sigmund. Thin, mostly diminishing white head over a clear yellow/golden body. Both floral and earthy hop-aroma with notes og fruit and dry malts. Crisp and dry taste; a light malt profile with a fresh hopbitter edge, and a fruity acidicy. Sparkling mouthfeel. Good bitterness in the finish. Enjoyable... and above average for a Norwegian Pilsener. tarjei (1370), Bryne, Norway Apr 9, 2007 Updated: May 8, 2008Green bottle 33 ml. A bit more hop and malt taste than you can expect from a norwegian pilsener. Sigmund (2006), Hafrsfjord, Norway Feb 27, 2007 330 ml green bottle, courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. Pale golden colour, moderate head. Moderate aroma of fruity and floral hops. Clean pilsener taste, not very different from Berentsens Rogalands Pils (but this one is organic). Light bodied, tolerable hops. Gr0ve (1123), Oslo, Norway Aug 6, 2007 330 ml bottle. Pale golden colour. Medium-sized white head. Rich malty aroma with a crisp hop dose. Nice grainy malts. Slight sharp grassy hop flavours. High carbonation level. Quite a high hop bitterness. Metallic hops. Long lasting lingering hop bitterness. Gentle malts in the front, but soon replaced by strong hop bitterness. Quite nice, but I’m not in the mood for these hops at the moment. Will have to retry. Papsoe (11076), Frederiksberg, Denmark Jun 3, 2007 (Bottle 33 cl) Clear, pale, pilsener golden with a rough, white head. Clean, malty nose. Light-bodied, clean, malty accents and a somewhat floral hopping. The finish is dry. Fairly decent and clean. 310507
