Pours a wonderful, clear, deep amber with a medium, creamy off white head. Good duration. Aroma is caramel, lightly roasted and good pine hoppiness. Nice creamy mouthfeel. Flavour is soft, very malty at first, lots of caramel, a touch of chocolate and a very roasted finish. On top of that, there is lots of dryish hops, mostly pine. Super drinkable. Beer_2000 (1164), Kristiansand, Norway Jan 13, 2008 500ml bottle. Clear amber body with a medium beige head, fast disappearing. Aroma is caramel and roasted malt. Flavor is sweet caramel malt, a bit roasted, relatively bitter, close to brown ale. Harmonic ale with a fine body and long pleasant bitter finish. cheeta (590), Langå, Denmark Nov 16, 2007 Heavy malty aroma with notes of caramel. Large frothy, off-white head. Excellent lacing. Clear amber body. Heavy bitter flavor. Medium palate. motelpogo (4111), Plzen, Czech Republic Oct 7, 2007 rbesg07, bottled. pretty standard amber ale - amber, light white head, slightly piney nose, orange rind, moderate bitterness, unexciting Rastacouere (5258), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Oct 2, 2007 Dark chestnut pour. Clear off-white head. Interesting pumpernickel nose and this is a flavour I like a lot. Whole grain bread can also be deciphered. Its weakness is that there is not much else than this bready malts. In mouth, where you’d expect a conclusion of hops, you are greeted farewell by a metallic sheet. Thin and simplistic.
