Solid pilsener. MoritzF (4019), Ruhrpott, Germany Feb 24, 2008 (33cl swing top bottle) Clear, golden colour with a dense mid-sized foamy white head. Light-sweet pale malt aroma, slightly grainy with grassy and herbal hops. Moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a medium carbonation. Soft malty, slightly grainy malty base with fresh herbal hoppy accents; dry and bitter, slightly grassy and herbal hoppy finish with a tinge of metal. Decent standard Pilsener (24.02.08). pivnizub (4007), Porúří, Germany May 16, 2008 Bügelverschlußflasche (purchased at the brasserie) Pale golden, big, partially creamy, bleached head; grainy and sweet-malty nose, but also a bit papery with a tinge of vanilla; moderate, dryish bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied; distinctive, dry grassy-bitter finish with illusions of sweet pale malt in the background, some hops lingering into the aftertaste. Clean, but not really convincing..........
