Commercial Description:
This Pilsner is an American Pils with the characteristics of being light in body and color, refreshingly crisp and moderately hopped. Only 2-Row-Barley-Malt, Carapils and light caramel are used for this smooth beer. The bitterness comes from a blend of domestic hops.

Nice golden color. No head. Nose and flavor are both very mild and veer toward the malty side. A touch of bitterness in the finish but with an odd array of off dirty off-notes as well.

Very light gold with fast moving bubbles in my lager glass. A little wisp of a head at the top. Strong vegetable aroma of carrots and celery. Hints of earthy hops. The taste is thin and metallic. Notes of carrots and even turnips are here. A decent pilsener, but a little thin and watery, even for the style.

clear golden sort of color, not much of an aroma, flavor is malty/watery, a pils that is a shade above average, much more malt than hop, typical to midwest, gotta love it

Not amazing. MIldy flavorful with a rather odd taste (which all berghoff products have). Probably the worst of berghoff’s so-so line of offerings.

Medium gold color with a fair head and sparse lacing. Mild malty aroma, slight caramel and spice. Light to medium bodied, slightly sweet malty flavor, a hint of fruitiness with a faint hoppy note in the finish. Nice beer, easy drinking, but it’s curious that they would label this a pils as the similar Berghoff Original Lager is considerably hoppier-I think even Huber Premium may be hoppier. Yea whatever.

Nice golden hue. Half inch head is gone in 30 seconds. Almost no aroma. A little sweet. A touch of hops and bitterness.

Golden and still with a thin veil. Malty sugar aroma. Tangily tart and sweet, but exceptionally crisp with a hint of lemon, but primarily a malty cerealy beer.

Very Dissapointing. Their bock is much better. This pils doesn't fair much better than other American macro brews. Very watery and quite bland
