Pours to a red/orange body with thin white head. The aroma is dandelions and weeds. The malts are very hidden by all the hops. The flavor is like a caramel apple pie. Quite pleasant. I wouldn’t put this in the APA category. Very confusing.

I just found my notes on the beers I tasted at the brewery tour in late summer. Definatly a red beer. Very little lacing and an amber color head. A little hint of fruit maybe apple. Spict hop. A good red beer!

Rating #300... I thought I would do something special for this one, but I didn’t. Draft at brewery. Clear amber pour with a faint red tint. Light off-white head with some healthy lacing as it went down. Some caramel and red wheat in the aroma, but rather weak. Caramel also found the flavor, along with some woodiness. Light on the palate, with crisp hops present primarily in the middle. Short finish. This wasn’t a bad ale, but I never would have placed it as an APA.

More brown than red in color, No head to speak of, no aroma, bland, flat and a little bitter with aftertaste.

Much more of an Irish ale than an APA. Unimpressive aroma with malt. Red-brown color with no head. Flavor is surprisingly good. There is assertive malt flavor with a hint of sourness. Not complex, just simple and malty. Decent palate; a little oily.

Amber in color with a small white head. Aroma and flavor of milf caramel malt and mild hops.

This smells and looks nice. It has a nice crisp hoppiness, which begins quite pleasantly. The finsih, however, is too thin and metallic, but not so much that this isn’t a drinkable beer.

Bottle 12 oz. Clear dark amber with moderate rocky off-white head that diminished slowly. Good complex aroma of malt, hops and fruit. Medium body. Moderate balanced flavor of malt and a small bitter finish.
