Coppery color with an off white head that I would have missed if I hadn’t been looking for it. Spicy, fruity, bitter nose. Spicy, honeyish taste and a slight bitter hops finish with a faint malty taste at the finish too. Very light body, better than average overall but nothing spectacular

Amber body with a small/medium head. I’m not sure about this being a Pale... this seems to be typical microbrew stuff: slightly hoppy, slightly malty, slightly watery. Decent, and far better than swill, just not too adventurous.

Ok. It was decent. It had colour and flavor and aroma. The appearance was lovely - a nice copper with a little fluffy head. The nose was fruity. The mouthfeel was watery. Lots of hop after the swallow.

Copper colored with little of any head, this had a somewhat stale malty aroma with merely a hint of hopping. Thin in the mouth, it was fairly thin in flavor as well, some burnt caramel with an unappealing bitter finish. Just what does The Berghoff have to take pride in anymore - these blase "famous" brews that they contract out to Huber?

Sweet caramel aroma. No head. Light copper colour. Thin body but interesting bitter woody flavour.

Poured reddish copper color with no head. You can taste the bitters in the after taste as well as a burnt taste.

No head, coppery red color. There was a distinct maltyness to the flavor, with a bitter aftertaste. I tasted some caramel hints but the burned aftertasted overpowered the delicate balance.

sugar cookie with a caramel swirl. Smooth yet sticky on the palate. Tastes of roasted nuts, but is very astringent. Stale, burnt aftertaste. A bad rendition of a true-to-style Red Ale.
