Poured a medium and clear orange color with an averaged sized off white head. Muted aromas of grain and some caramel. Tastes of caramel, grain and citrus. | 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Apr 20, 2005 Copper colored with little of any head, this had a somewhat stale malty aroma with merely a hint of hopping. Thin in the mouth, it was fairly thin in flavor as well, some burnt caramel with an unappealing bitter finish. Just what does The Berghoff have to take pride in anymore - these blase "famous" brews that they contract out to Huber? JPDIPSO (4922), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA

Light toffee with hint of DMS in the aroma. Mild flavors of dry caramel with dry nutty finish. To me this is another (ASA) American Standard Amber. BückDich (4851), McCall, Idaho, USA
