Commercial Description:
Berghoff Hefe Weizen is a smooth tasting, unfiltered Wheat Beer brewed in traditional Bavarian style, using both Two-Row Barley and Wheat Malt. The cloudy appearance of the Hefe-Weizen is caused by the Vitamin B-Complex carrying top fermented yeast in the finished product.

Nice aroma of banana, orange and cloves. Pretty much a typical hefewiezen. The good news is that is such a great style of beer. Flavors were also typical hefe. There is a hint of grapefruit. Quite drinkable.

12 oz bottle. Pours cloudy amber with a nice white head. Definite banana overtones in the aroma. Spicy bananas in the flavor. Not a bad hefe at all. Very drinkable.

Murky and wheatish in color with a weird, fizzy/scummy white head and served with a wedge without asking. Classic Hefe aromas with banana and clove but a bit sour. Yeasts show in flavor as banana on a wheat base but again sour with a finish that hangs at the back of the throat.

Not a bad Hefe. Certainly there are better out there. But, for the price, it is pretty good. Bananas, cloves. Not a bad aftertaste. The head does not last as long as most hefe’s. I really enjoy Franziskaner Hefe much more (made by Spaten). But, this will do.

Had this one bottled. Your typical wheat beer nose of bananas, cloves and orange, with a hint of cinnamon, flavor is nice and sour with some lemon and spice. This is a good wheat beer.

Gold Coloring with White Ring. Citrusy Aroma. Light Coriander on the Tongue...Along With Citrus Notes...Pretty Light and Watery Overall but Not Without a Nice Clean Taste.

Bottle Lemon, orange, banana and light clove aroma. Cloudy light orange-yellow color with small head. Tart lemon, banana, and wheat malt flavor with moderate acidity and carbonation. Nice Hefe - on the light side but still pretty good.

From a botle cast off by Jason. Cloudy custard-orange body under a thin white head. Light wheat aroma with banana/orange juice highlights. Clean flavor - Light clove, banana/gum and wheat. Nothing remarkable about this, just a really good tasting hefe.
