Poured a clear, brownish amber with a white, bubbly foam head and good lacing. The nose was toastiness and distinctive German malt aroma. The flavor followed with a hint of noble hop and light bitter/dryness. A decent, traditional Marzen. MadIndian (994), Levittown, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 10, 2009 Appearance: Pours out a clear, deep amber body with a frothy, off-white head.
Smell: Mild, understated nose of lightly toasty malts with some lesser notes spicy hops and somewhat inappropriate notes of caramel and fruit.
Taste: Lightly toasty Munich maltiness with a small amount of mild caramel sweetness. A few fruity esters roaming the background. Spicy, lightly floral hops with a low amount of cleansing bitterness. The finish is both drying and lightly crisp.
Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: A simple, light-tasting, no-brainer Oktoberfest beer. It’s just one of those very average, middle-of-the-beer type beers that, without scratching down a few notes on it, I would completely forget about it. shp555 (1681), Atlanta, Georgia, USA

It is because I am a beer whore. This pours a bright amber with a solid white cap displaying mediocre retention and no lace. Low aroma of corny malt kissed with caramel. Palate is largely the same. I am thankful that there was no weird chemical traits in this one though.
