| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Oct 10, 2006 Rich creamy aromatic bouquet of blended lemon spice, phenolic sweet fruits including piquant kumquats, yuzu rind and a distant edge of slightly skunked dusty malt. Surprisingly enticing! Clear golden fringed amber-orange cored pour, with effusive carbonation and a rocky, lacy, fading head of banana cream. Flavor is edging thin, with a corn heavy malt edge, dopple with cream and sweet fruit malt sugars of canned pineapple and raisin pudding. Airy. I believe this would be refreshing. Stewed plum phenols collide in the end with a long parch of grass stems. Not as fulfilling of a flavor as someone would ask for from an Octoberfest. Definite apple skins in the smack. I’m starved for this style and it rings better than Leine’s abominal version, so it may have gotten a little extra from me. Slick (1962), Thief River Falls, Minnesota, USA

Caramel malt aroma. Toasted malt flavour, caramel, mild bitterness, light bready malt aftertaste. frankenkitty (1903), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 5, 2006 Bottle pours with a brandy-colored body, faint strains of carbonation and a large, fluffy, yellowhite head that holds. Sniff from the freshly opened bottleneck to reveal an awful, adjuncty mess, but let the beer breathe and be confronted by stale, dusty caramel, vegetal, leafy-green hoppiness and faint notes of milk. Sweet, malty and flavorful with a nutty bitterness to finish and another impression of milk in the mouthfeel. A touch of spiciness can be found in both flavor and palate.

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 31, 2006 Orange color with a beige head. Aroma of grainy malt and a little citrus. Flavor of bitter and roasted malt. Pretty good. IndyF1 (19), Indianapolis, Indiana, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Apr 29, 2006 Nice citrus aroma and ok head. Color is noticably darker than Budweiser but still fairly light (polite way of saying sick dark pee). Beer taste was pretty weak but kind of good. No flavors jump out at me, its a little hoppy and bitter. There is a little aftertaste. I’ll have another, since it is sitting there. Not something to spend big money on, but if you can find it for a decent price, try it. Its not offensive (except for the color). DavidP (1743), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 7, 2006 Bottle. Clear amber body, thin white head. Toasty caramel bread aroma with a effervescent, pine needle aroma. Primarily nutty flavor with light caramel sweetness underneath, bracing leafy hops in the finish. Medium mouthfeel.
