Amber color. Sweetish sample of Oktoberfest, some sweet caramel, the minimum required sweetness.

12oz bottle. Poured a medium and slightly hazy amber color with a smaller sized off white head. Aromas of toasted malts, caramel, and nuts. Toasted nuts. Tastes on the thin and weak side; toasted malts, light bread and nutty. Metalic finish. Thin body.

Pours light copper with an off white head. Smells of bread, caramel, some earthy hints. Tastes toasty and breaddy with some dry malt presence and a tea like finish.

Nice clear amber body with a sizeable off-white head. The aroma is warm, buttered toast with a drop or two of caramel. Nicely carbonated. The flavor remains toasty and sweet, some pears showing up, and an addition of a light earthy bitterness that lasts into the finish. Not too bad.

Deep amber color with a short big bubbled white&tan head. Resin, grain and grass aromas. Mild malt flavors with a nutty finish. A good beer while in Monroe having a braunschweger and limburger cheese sandwich at the local watering hole (Baumgardener’s). I understand the owner is a relative of Joseph Huber.

There is actually some real malty "fall classic" flavor in here, by gum. Bit malty/roasty/smoky, nice balance. Many better choices for an Okt of course, but this is fine for the price.
