Commercial Description:
Amber colored, all-malt-lager, which possesses a modest bitterness and clean aroma. Crafted in the traditional Bavarian manner and resembles the Marzen-type Oktoberfest Biers as they are served at the fall festivities in Munich. It won the Gold Medal in the 2002 World Beer Championships.

I am going with a solid 9/20 on this guy. OK taste, it just feels watered down. Or maybe its just regular beer that has orange coloring. Either way, it was ok to have with food but not something i would ever be craving.

bottle - Pours light copper with a one finger white head. It has a mild caramel malt aroma and a taste to match. There’s just a touch of hops in this unremarkable, light bodied brew. It’s not bad. There’s just little to recommend it.

Pour was a very light golden with light malt and biscut aroma. Flavor is also light. Needs more malt characters. Also very light hops.

All malt here. Pretty unremarkable. There isn’t much flavor and what flavor there is is annoying.

Decided to try out their offering of Oktoberfest and was slightly disappointed. Beer poured from the bottle a nice copper color with little head and leaves almost no lacing. Aroma is malty, slightly smokey and has a fruity, pear aroma. Flavor is first a sweet malty caramel flavor which moves into a very sweet pear flavor. Beer does have some decent weight in your mouth but also has a slight metallic twang in it The flavor of the beer does get better as it sits out and warms up. and I highly recommend to let it warm before drinking it The fruit tones really come out as it warms. Overall an ok beer for the price but style wise, it could use some improvement.
