12 oz bottle. Pours clear, bright, gold with a small white head. Smells a bit like rotten apples. Taste is quite ordinary. Not offensive though.

Strong butterscotch aroma with fruity esters and some herbal hops. Clear golden body with thin, white, fully diminishing head. Caramel and butterscotch flavours with some husky grainy malt and a lasting sweetness in the finish. Light body with very strong carbonation that does not last. Sampled at O’Hare airport on the way to GABF 2005.

Clear amber body, minimal fizzy white head that fades to nothing. Champagne-like bubbles coming up in my pint glass. Light hop and caramel grain aroma. Taste is sweet and slightly stale grainy malt with a light flowery hop background. A little fizzy on the tongue. Not too bad, but not too complex.

Draft at brewery. Poured a pale golden with a light white head. Nice lacing. Faint floral hops and some sweetness in the aroma.. quite pleasant. Flavor was much like the aroma, with a little more of a malt backbone than I had anticipated. Smooth across the palate, with some nice hop bite on the finish. This was nice and refreshing.

For a lager this isn’t half bad, not at all. Of course, that doesn’t mean there are other beers I’d pick first, but this is decent.
