Commercial Description:
Golden in color, with a moderately full body, Berghoff is a well-rounded beer. The aroma is faintly fruity, with a quick, clean finish, and lightly lingering bitterness. Berghoff Lager is made with Brewer's Two-Row Malt, Carapils Malt, Caramel Malt and domestic hops.

Bottle. Pale yellow with a thin white head that disappears quickly. Medium bodied with a grassy, piney aroma. Faint malty taste but also some citrus, No hops taste but a touch of hops bitterness at the finish. Not repulsive but there’s certainly much better out there.

Gold color with a thin head. Just a little hops in the aroma and taste. Clean and certainly unoffensive, this was surprisingly decent.

So this lager was just above average. The appearance was a remarkable match to urine but I won’t fault it for it because the drink ws nice. It had a sweet nose and slight but nice piny hops for some reason. The flavor was mild and non-obtrusive. I had low-expectations but was satisfied.

No head. It’s okay. A bit dry. I’d just as soon drink something else if offered a choice.

On tap at brewery. Little to no smell. Clear yellow (true to style.) Taste is bready and light. You can really tell that they use this same brewers yeast in everyone of the beers they produce. Not good.

Light colored body with almost no head. The carbonation bubbles are small and hard to see. Aroma of hay and carrots. The taste has A fairly aggressive maltiness. Nice dry hops of orange peels. A nice touch for a light lager. Hints of grass and some celery spice. Surprisingly interesting.

Had it at the Berghoff with my meal. Very much standard in the Dortmunder style, some maltyness, some bitterness. Easy drinking, not as good as the darker beers, straightforward solid beer.
