Medium bodied with a grassy, piney aroma. Faint malty taste but also some citrus, No hops taste but a touch of hops bitterness at the finish. Not repulsive but there’s certainly much better out there. badgerben (3605), Blaine, Minnesota, USA

The appearance was a remarkable match to urine but I won’t fault it for it because the drink ws nice. It had a sweet nose and slight but nice piny hops for some reason. The flavor was mild and non-obtrusive. I had low-expectations but was satisfied. ecbeerguy (86), East Chicago, Indiana, USA

You can really tell that they use this same brewers yeast in everyone of the beers they produce. Not good. McKnizzle69 (89), Machesney Park, Illinois, USA

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 17, 2005 Light colored body with almost no head. The carbonation bubbles are small and hard to see. Aroma of hay and carrots. The taste has A fairly aggressive maltiness. Nice dry hops of orange peels. A nice touch for a light lager. Hints of grass and some celery spice. Surprisingly interesting. joemacaluso (119), Prairieville, Louisiana, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 3, 2005 Had it at the Berghoff with my meal. Very much standard in the Dortmunder style, some maltyness, some bitterness. Easy drinking, not as good as the darker beers, straightforward solid beer.
