Pours golden with a decent white head that doesn’t stay. Aroma is pale malts. Taste is sweet pale malt, not bad at all for a pale lager. Very sweet.

Pours light golden with a mostly receding off-white head. Aroma of sweet bready malt, lager yeast, a bit of sour mash and lemon. Taste is a bit soapy, bready malt, honey, lightly bitter hops. Mouthfeel is thin bodied with moderate carbonation.

Pours a golden yellow color with a nice white head. Aromas of grassy hops and wet cereal grains. Flavor is of smooth malt with slight note of hop bitterness.Nice crisp finish. Not bad for the style!

This is one of the only American pale lagers I actually like. Pours golden with thick white head. Aroma is sweet and grassy. Flavor is very malty and pretty sweet, not nearly as dry as many American pale lagers. It doesn’t make you go wow, but it is very good for such a boring style, and makes a good, light beer for summer BBQs.

Well, it’s beer. Very boring, malty sweet and rainwater beer. The nose is little more than a malty tease. I won’t try this again.

Picked up two 12-oz bottles via Berghoff Sampler Pack at Steve’s Liquor & More in Madison, Wisconsin. Pours a clear light blonde golden brew with a fast dissolving white head that dissipates clean. Aroma is of a simple white bread malt with some grassy hops. Taste is light to medium body with hardly any carbonation, watery light malt flavor. Finish is just as watery as the flavor with maybe a semi-sweet bread aftertaste. Nothing special.

Blond color. Very simple, just a light crispy touch.
