Gold color, with a head that deflated very fast. Some small lacing, but not enough to elevate the Appearance score. Weak aroma. Flavor was balanced, but lacks further comment. Maybe the new owner of the brewery will put out a better product. BückDich (4857), McCall, Idaho, USA

Nose is a bit floral and grassy with some light sweetness from the malts. A bit husky, but not much. The flavor is a bit sweet, but clean and drinkable. Light malts, a bit too light in hops. The finish is grassy, wet, eh, not bad. stoutchap (297), Chicago, Illinois, USA

Clear, pale gold color. Moderate carbonation with a big, foamy white head. Light malt aroma and flavor with a hint of fruitiness. Crisp and smooth with a slightly dry finish. Average body and mouthfeel.
On a side note: I am glad that I was able to visit the Joseph Huber Brewing Company and take a tour of the facility. It is the second oldest brewery in America, but has recently been bought by a Canadian and will be renamed to Minhas Craft Brewery... theisti (1693), Leawood, Kansas, USA

I enjoy most Huber products, but was actually quite disappointed with this one. Really not much flavor or body here. TerryR (383), Oswego, Illinois, USA

Aroma is light sweet malt. Sweet, toasty malt flavors. Quick hop finish for balance. A solid effort. linkolnlogg (94), your home, Minnesota, USA

Pours out a gold colour with a quickly dissapating bubbly white head. Scent is mild with an overall malty aroma with light toasted notes in the backdrop. Taste is pretty good... elements of apple, malt, and light yeasty notes balancing it very well. Finish is sweet and quick. guzzler67 (1289), Hanover, Maryland, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jul 28, 2006 Clear gold appearance , average white head and good lacing. Slightly metallic, sweet malt aroma, with a toasty note buried in the back. This is a style that I typically under rate, but this one stood out as a well made, flavorful, decently balanced beer with a good mouthfeel. Dry, crisp, short lived finish.
