Very sweet and grainy, with caramel and some hops thrown in at the end. Flavor is sweet and caramel, hop flavor is sharp (but not very developed or strong). Palate is fairly thin and very fizzy. Not so great. LtJudge (432), Muskego, Wisconsin, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Aug 22, 2007 Appearance: Pours a clear, light coppy body with a wispy white head.
Smell: Faint, almost unappealing aroma of musty grains and a drop or two of lemon.
Taste: Mild grainy taste and caramel, though the latter doesn’t impart much sweetness. Light citrus hop flavor. Finish provides a subtle bitterness.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium carbonation.
Drinkability: Pretty dull, even for a pale ale. CaptainCougar (5457), Rockville, Maryland, USA

Aroma of very mild, citrusy hops with a touch of pale malt. Body starts fairly weak in flavor with a light bittersweetness throughout, a hint of toasted grain and grapefruity hops. Pretty bland overall. redlem (1155), Illinois, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jul 12, 2007 Finally some hops in a Berghoff beer. While not great this one is more tolerable. The aroma and flavor are improved but the watery palate and metallic taste are still here. It actually gets worse the more you drink it.
