Feb 3, 2007 Gold / light amber color with a light hop / floral aroma. Crisp on the front-end, with a stron hops finish. Hops taste was a bit acidic.

Jan 16, 2007 bottle - Pours coppery colored and clear with almost no head. There’s a mild, hops aroma. The flavor has a fairly tasty hops bite with less impressive malt flavors. It thin to medium bodied and finishes with moderate hops bitterness that’s pleasant enough. Not bad.

Jan 14, 2007 Bottle. Faint nose is nigh-impossible to detect. Only aroma pts are for slight citrus and mild hops, but really, this should be a 1. Pale orange body with a rocky yet fizzled-out off-white head and strong visible carbonation. Watery body is bland and infused with a slight (grassy) stale bitterness. Disgusting little disappointment.

Dec 13, 2006 Nice copper body, but the head faded to nothing almost immediately. Decent citrus aroma, but a little on the faint side. The flavor lacked the hops that the Commercial Description said were in this beer. With so many good ales on the market, there’s no reason for me to have this one again.

Nov 28, 2006 Had higher hops for this. Golden color typical of style, but way too malty, and very little hops, at least compared to their own description. Unimpressed.

Aug 17, 2006 Bottle to pounder (shaker). Pours out a light corn gold with a playful light bubbly head. Scent is mildly hoppy intermixed with a strong yeast character. Taste is a mild but pleasant hoppiness that persists into the finish. Not too much variety/ complexity but a nice stable pale ale from start to finish.

Jul 20, 2006 Bottle. Pours a hazy copper with a white head that thins quickly and then leaves altogether. Aroma was initially some light citrus and earth notes, with some malt as well, but it quickly disappeared. Flavor has a decent balance between hops and malt, but the hops are a bit light on flavor. Bitterness is evident and last into the finish. There is a bit of the grapefruit tartness in the finish as well, though I don’t get a lot of citrus in the flavor otherwise. Body is medium-light. Overall, a fairly easy drinking beer with a decent balance....but nothing to get excited about.
