Aromas in moderation reveal mild nuttiness, light citrus and slight roast. Mild flavor touches on citric hops with a grainy background. Thin and a little sour with bitters to finish. In a word, "Mild".

Clear dark orange color, not too much nose of note, taste is uninspired, with hops and apples quicky dissipating to nothingness. Skip it for the multitude of other better pales. robertsreality (2460), Minnesota, USA

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 24, 2005 Nice copper body with a skimpy off-white head. Aroma of mild caramel malt with some orange zest and earthy bitterness. The flavor is a very light sweet malt with a dash of citric hop bitterness. A fine example of the taming of a style.

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 22, 2005 Bottle. Not much aroma. Light colored head. Nice color for a pale ale, lets you know it isn’t lacking in flavor. Mild bitterness and not much hop for a pale ale. It’s good, but not on the top of it’s style. Oddly, I can’t smell much from this beer. Slight citrus rind and what I can only call pencil lead.
Taste good enough. A bit fizzy to me, but it has a citrus and grassy hop character nicely balanced with some caramel malts. Not overly complex, but a decent drink that has good flavor.
