Though it to be less hoppy then the normal Red Ale, very similar perhaps with a better palate. Doesn’t taste like a real bock to me, more again like a typical red ale. That said it’s just as good as their regular red ale. The aroma on Berghoff isn’t too strong, but the colors are very, very nice

Heavier red beer. Has a sharp hop taste mixed within the malt flavor. More body than their red ale.

Actually, quite a tasty beer, malty with enough hops. Deep reddish color and a bit of fruitiness in the mouth. nice.

Pretty good, but nothing special. Served from the tap in a g-d d-amn frozen shaker, so flavor might have been altered. Looks nice, with a red body and thick head. Flavor is nice and very Bock-ish, but not overwhelming and actually quite pleasant.

Poured from a bottle red with a little brown mixed in, no head and very fine carbonation. Aromas are of alcohol, strong malt and sweet fruit. Smells a lot like merlot wine. Flavor starts off of sweet carmel malt, moves into a plum flavor and ends with a very smooth, almost slippery feeling, sugary nectarine/peach flavor on the tip of your tongue. I was quite surprised at this beer and will definitely get this one next time its in season.

Bottle.Small fizzy tan head that mostly diminished, spotty amounts of lacing, transparent, fast rising carbonation, and an orangish red hue. Nose was malty, caramel, sweet, hint of fruit, and a hint of toffee.Ditto for the flavor along with some light bitterness. Tingly mouthfeel and medium in body.Quaffable, balanced, easy to drink, and a decent one to have on hand when not wanting a complex or a high ABV beer.

A decent, fairly average beer. Darkish color. Light crisp nose. Some nice dark caramel malt flavors throughout. Good pick up to bring to a party to share in general, or to grab a few without wanting to really get into a beer too much.
