Commercial Description:
Berghoff Solstice Wit, named for the golden light of the longest day of the year, is a refined, Bavarian-style thirst-quencher. Made with the finest red wheat, 2-row malted barley, and the most sought-after American hops, this is a light, refreshing brew with subtle hints of Curacao orange and coriander. This was the first beer to feature the new Berghoff label design.

(bottle, thanks Brewfiend) Pours light gold with a white head. Aroma is very spicy with coriander dominating, and smells very peppery as well. The aroma was quite similar to CynicAle. The flavor was disappointing with some spice and a yeasty finish, and the beer was also rather watery.

light wheat nose on this pale yellow beer faint white head. Watery body. Light spice on the nose but pretty much dominant wheat.

12oz bottle - Poured a golden color with small head that quickly faded to nothing. Aroma is hard to distinguish. Had a spicy orange flavor with a mild wheat after taste. An ok summer beer but nothing to impressive.

Appearance: Pours a slight hazy, pale yellow body with a thin white head. Smell: Mild aroma of pale malts, coriander, and orange peel. Taste: Thin, sweet wheat flavor with the citrus peel providing some fruitiness. Distant note of coriander. Very, very light bitterness on the finish. Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Medium carbonation. Drinkability: Refreshing, sure, but not too terribly complex or unique.

Draft at Chicago Ale House. Cloudy pale yellow with sall white head. Spicy saison like aroma with citrus and other light fruits. Spicy flavor with coriander, orange, very well done and typical. Med to light body with little carb. A very sweet saison like wit, well done, I’m also guessing that it is better fresh.

Pours to a thin golden body with a very thin white head. The aroma is orange juice and wit beer yeast. Coriander. The flavor is orange zest and tart wheaty yeast with coriander. The palate is lightly tart and has a subtle butterscotch.
