Aug 2, 2008 Bottle. Sweet cherry malt flavor. Reddish brown color with moderate head. Artificial sweet cherry flavor with a bitter saccharin finish. Like Per said - an alcopop in disguise.

Pours ruby/brownish/copper with a light brownish head.
Aroma is filled with cherry / malt and grains.
Taste was again of cherries and a thick butterscotch that was sweet and sugary, dense body.
I am wondering why is has gotten such bad ratings. I found it to be very enjoyable. Compared to the other many below average German beers and other pilsners, this one came as a nice change.

Jul 9, 2008 Bottled at RBESG after session. Dark brown with siry head. Artificial cherry aroma. Sweet and artificial all the way. If it ever had porter characteristics it’s lon gone. Chemical and foul. Alcopop in disguise.

May 31, 2008 0,5l bottle. Very dark colour with some red and a nice strongish foam. The aroma has lots of cherry in it, but it doesn’t prepare you for the flavor which is only cherry and artificial sweetener. It was really hard to drink all of it. Quite horrible.

May 3, 2008 (Bottle on 2008-02-05) Some head. Dark colour with some hints of red. Cherries in nose. Way too sweet. Cherry flavour most certainly is from some flavour additive. Actually quite bad taste. No porter at all.
