The aroma sour hoppyness. The color is brown and it has a fast disappearing head. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of caramel. The body is thin especially taking the 7.5% ABV into account.

(Bottle 33 cl) Courtesy of MoritzF. Clear, dark brown with a warm tint of red and a small, beige head. Aroma of roasted malt and alcohol. Medium body with sweetish, roasted malt and a very biting alcohol feel. Very subdued bitterness. A disappointing and simple brew. I have a sneaking suspicion that this is bottom fermented and hence really a Baltic Porter. 271207

Bottled. Brown coloured with an off white head. Malty aroma with notes of bread. Roasted flavour with notes of malts and liquorice. Tastes more like schwarzbier than porter.

Bottle. Sweet, dark sugar, peppery aroma. Seemingly clear very dark brown colour. Semi-stable light brown head. Distinct carboard flavour! Not past BB date. Rather peppery flavour too, some sweetness. The alcohol is very present in the aftertaste. Oily mouthfeel. Off?

courtesy of Laurent Mousson; labelled Lausitzer Strong Porter -clear dark brown colour, little beige foam; slightly toasted, aroma of caramel and not much more; good malt body, very sweet; late bitterness and quite dry; notes of alcohol and ashes in the finish - simplistic
