| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Feb 24, 2008 I was introduced to this Berkshire Company thru a atrade with RCL. Like Erie, they have have really cool things going on there. This beer is from a 22 oz bomber. Big swirling gunk on the bottom pour in a cloudy iced tea appearance. Very fresh and sweet aroma of mild fruity or floral hops. Big fuzzy, nearly IPA taste impact. Typical ale-ish, almost rude, fer sure. Not an insult to the beer called ale. Preservative finish on the back of the palate near the place where the throat begins. Hey, RCL, this is what my last package smelled like! Hey Ray heheheh. Better than an APA IMHO if you are a hop lover. These bottled conditioned beers from Berkshire are so fresh! sliffy (2012), Columbus, Ohio, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 4, 2008 2007. Bottle. One of my lesser favorite BBC brews, which means it’s still good. This is your standard BBC. Sweet with plenty of maltiness. Very quaffable with a hint of alcohol in the aftertaste. Not one to write home about really, but a nice beer to accompany dinner. beerbill (1982), Laurel, New York, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 21, 2007 22 oz. bottle. Pours a cloudy rust color with a long-lasting off-white head. Light but pleasant aroma of oranges, pine, and a bit of malt. The flavors, which are a bit subdued, are very well balanced and include caramel and citrus. Very easy to drink and smooth on the palate. This beer is proof that a good beer doesn’t have to hit you over the head. skibumphishead (180), USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Sep 5, 2007 22 shared with brie. This tasted like a nutty brown ale and some soapy hop flavors. The hops are the same in all BBCs... they taste a little piney and weak. BBC is still the best local beer in the pioneer valley. sstackho (249), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Aug 29, 2007 Called "Berkshire Ale with Dry Hopped Cascades" on cask at Sunset Grill in Allston, MA. Pours cloudy with a big head. The aroma is not very strong for a dry hopped cask beer. The flavour is rather thin and feels watered down. This was disappointing. I expected more.
