Poured a deep orange color with an averaged sized off white head. Aromas of oranges, grapefruits, light pine, light caramel and lightly floral. Tastes of caramel with some citrus. The aromas where stronger citrus with light caramel where the tastes where the complete opposite. After drinking for a little bit, I was also getting some toasted malts. Body a tad on the thin side. This one was a nice surprise! duff (5475), Surrey, Greater London, England

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 26, 2004 Orange/copper colour. The aroma is typical US pungent resinous sweet hops. Flavour is sweet caramel malt and hops, with a hint of citrus but, in general, the flavours were rather restrained (not necessarily a bad thing). Quite acidic, but not bitter, finish. A bit short of grip and not perfectly balanced. Not bad, but not great. Cask (gravity) at GBBF 2004.
