12oz Draft at Amherst Brewing Company. This is the first time that I have seen this one anywhere. The pour is cloudy dark yellow with a quickly disappearing 1/2 inch head. The aroma is full of yeast and bananas. The first sip is buttery smooth with yeasty bread and subtle fruit flavors. The finish was more butter and bananas. This lacked the carbonation and peppery flavors of La Fin Du Monde. It was more smooth and balanced like the St. Bernardus triple. The 8% abv that the chalkboard sign stated was completely undetected. I have always liked this local brewery and this is a great attempt at a Belgian from them. Cheers.
