Slow, big bubbled carbonation. Spicy hop aroma with undercurrents of peach syrup. Crisp, hoppy and boldly flavored. Spicy hops and a dry caramel base injected with the stewed peaches house character. Medium full body. Quite rich, yet briskly carbonated and bitter. Yeast pour darkens the liquid and firms up the now creamy head. Smoother and gentle, yet firmly spicy. Finishes with a ton of green, leafy, spicy hops and a creamy, fruit mix. Very nice winter sessional.

Sweet taste of dark fruit, sugar and malt with a faint citrus finish. Not what I was expecting, but enjoyable. SuIIy (1465), Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, USA

Nose is lightly nutty with a light coriander spice and a hint of sweet caramel malt. Palate is full and smooth. Flavors of light spicy autumnal notes with a nice sweet malt in the finish and hints of caramel and toffee. williamherbert (466), Syracuse, New York, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Nov 8, 2009 A cloudy toffee-brown pub ale. Large rocky head. Thick lace sticks to the glass. Color turns light yellow at the edges.
The smell is the sweet biscuity aroma of a pub ale. A mild, flowery hop as well. The malt is dry and bready. Very very nice.
The malt flavor dominates the taste, like a slightly sweet amber. The roasted qualities of the malt make the sweetness work. Hops are mild and estery. Somewhere between an amber and a brown, although slightly more of an amber flavor.
The feel is medium bodied; a nice milky, creamy thickness on the way down. It’s a really easy drinking beer with goo dbody and balanced roasted/sweet flavors. Top notch. kp (8500), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 27, 2009 In Northfield, MA. Dark brownish head with healthy fizzy head. Fruity, citrus nose. Some fruits in the taste. Gets dry and malty in the finish. Quite peculiar, really. A bit fizzy in the mouthfeel, with a sweet and malty finish. Not sure about this one. Don’t want to seem weird, but subsequent sips remind me very much of sushi... mansquito (832), Boston/Philadelphia, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 16, 2009 Muddy light brown color with a slightly off-white head. Weak aroma of malts... barely noticeable at least for me. Slightly fruity taste. Kind of dry feeling overall. Very minimal hops. Moderate taste of malts through and through. puboflyons (609), New Hampshire, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 14, 2009 Poured from the 1 pt. 6 fl. oz bottle most likely brewed just a few weeks prior to my tasting in Feb. ’09. The pour was a reddish-amber tone with an adequate supply of foamy beige head that sticks around and provides a little lacing action. The aroma is floral with a note of hops. Medum mouthfeel. The hops are more evident in the taste than they are in the aroma and there is a sweet and bitter end to the flavor. A fine brew for those chilly winter evenings. beerbill (1962), Laurel, New York, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 20, 2008 22 oz. bottle. Pours a slightly hazed dark amber with a moderate off-white head that lasted through two-thirds of the glass and left lots of spotted lace. Pleasant aroma of caramel, malt, and just a hint of fruit. The flavor is equally enjoyable with caramel and malt with some very mild hops at the finish. Smooth mouthfeel that borders on being silky. Good stuff and underrated.
