Pours dark brown with a huge tan head. Awsome huge oroma of coffee and sweet malts. Nice balance of coffee, toffee, and chocolate flavors, sliding very smoothly into a slightly bitter finish. Medium mouthfeel, Hedium high carbonation. Excellent local beer.

Bottle. Pours a deep dark brown almost black with a fizzy chocolate head. Light bitter coffee aroma. Light coffee taste with some porter notes. Nice and smooth with a touch of coffee. Not too thin on the palate.

Bottle. Dark brown pour with a little off-white head. The aroma is old coffee and some roasted malt. The flavor is coffee, cream, and a little malt. Seriously, it was like drinking a cold, carbonated, slightly malty cup of coffee with cream (no sugar).

Tap at Boston University Pub A very dark pour with a slightly off-white head that will stay around. A very thick syrupy beer with a strong coffee flavor. Filling and quite satisfying a rather good beer
