(Bottle). Very rich aroma of coffee au lait. Deep dark brown body, creamy tan head. Delicious semi-sweet flavor of rich coffee, a touch of smokiness that morphs into pleasant bitterness. Not much of a finish, except for a mild lingering bitterness. A very enjoyable and refreshing brew from one of New England’s best micros.

Pours a three finger light tan head that fades quickly to a thin layer leaving a good lace. Deep mahogany color. Roasted coffee nose. Light-medium carbonation and medium-heavy bodied. Flavor is sweet roasted coffee, smooth but finishes as burnt coffee, still very drinkable. $3.94 for a 22oz bottle from Ruggeri & Sons Greenfield, MA.

Robust roasted malts with a slight amount of medicine aroma. Very dark amber color with a small tan head. Initial malt bitterness quickly taking on a roasted coffee flavor. Developing a slight amount of sweetness in the finish. Mildly thick palate.

Bottles courtesy of joepais and rbuckstar. Thanks&#033;&#033; <br /> Pours a light black to dark brown with a big fluffy beige head. Smell is wet cardboard like malt , and coffee. Taste is like a regular old cup of coffee, and dark roasty malt. Some mild bitterness, but still fairly smooth. Not a bad coffee beer, but not my favorite. Enjoyable.

22 shared with brie. It was on sale for 2.99 across the street here in Easthampton. The aroma and initial flavor is sweet coffee. The finish has a little chocolate and nuttiness. I’m glad that I can still get this one anytime because it’s great. BBC is is my favorite local brewery.
