Deep red-brown body, very thin light cream head. Coffee, light chocolate, and DMS/butterscotch aroma. My notes for the flavor are somewhat unintelligible, but coffee and roasted malts dominated the palate with slight hints of DMS that thankfully didn’t overwhelm the beer. Medium-bodied, roasty, and fairly simple, yet quaffable and tasty. I can barely read my numbers, but I think I’ve transcribed them reasonably well... aobecksy (661), Middle of no where, Ohio, USA

Anyway pours nice with little head, chocolate coffee taste, better with warming. Pailhead (2603), Allen Park, Michigan, USA

It could be prunish or it could be raisony. I’d better have another one just to make sure! Very creamy and very good otherwise. I would buy this beer again.
