Clear dark brown color with a small, virtually none appearance, virtually none lacing, fully diminishing, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, cream, moderate hoppy, pine, graoefruity. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium to full, texture is oily - smooth, carbonation is flat. Very nice. (080808)

Sep 9, 2008 Cask, 6.0% at GBBF08. Hazy almost black colour. Good sweetish liquorice flavour, quite malty. Not that bitter. Smooth mouthfeel, very pleasant. Warming alcohol aftertaste.
