DrDavid (487), Johnson, Vermont, USA Oct 3, 2008 (Bottle). Perfumy weird aroma. Bright yellow-gold color, small head. Flavor is extremely odd and off-putting, as if something went wrong in the formula.
mwelsh13 (231), Maryland, USA Aug 21, 2008 22oz bottle poured hazy yellow. Small head. Flavors were off. The bottle may have been infected. Beerlando (1460), Orlando, Florida, USA Jul 26, 2008 Pours a lightly hazy, golden-yellow color. A small, frothy, off-white head leaves minimal, spotty lacing behind. Aromatics include bready yeast, pale malts, drying wheat, and delicate, floral hops. The flavor is very yeasty, with an ever so slightly sour tinge. Lightly sweet malts are met with equally subtle floral hopping. Balanced and soft, overall. Light in body, with low to moderate carbonation, it drinks quite easy but lacks substance. Decent beer for a hot summer day, but nothing special. RCL (1113), Waltham, Massachusetts, USA Jun 26, 2008 Great straw and grass aroma with hints of yellow apple and pear skin. Light, vegetal hops flavor. Quite refreshing. cheapdark (1655), Monacatootha, Pennsylvania, USA Feb 25, 2008 Got this bomber in a trade with RCL. Great deal! Nice hazy pale yellow almost vanilla color. A nearly fruity slag aroma. Very nice very clean initial flavor. Hay straw and lots of outback in the field attributes. Cannot detect much initial offensiveness but as the session continues there seems to be an attempt to build some bitter ale character. This however fades at the conclusion of each swallow. Has an interesting evolution of flavor, in waves. Has more personality than I care for in a session brew but it is yet enjoyable and friendly. Easy drinking and repeatable lighter brew. 22 oz is just about the right amount for one serving. Kind and gentle, all the way to the last drop. Certainly more personality than pale lagers yet can do this without being offensive. Nearly wheatbeir at times.
