Jul 1, 2007 Bottled. Reddish brown coloured. Dense light brown head. Aroma is light sour, has cocoa and light roast. Flavour has diacityl, cocoa, light chocolate and some roast. Is medium bodied. Sweetish end, but wiht a light souness underlaying it all. Thanks to jjpm74 for this.

Jun 23, 2007 22oz bottle. pours black with creamy tan head, appears watery. nose has baker’s chocolate and roasted nuts. flavor is really sweet chocolate, roasty, and licorice. mouthfeel is watery. carbonation is low. alc is well hidden. sure it’s tasty and it is rich but a touch too sweet and not enough roast, hops, complexity, and dark chocolate to be something special.

Apr 13, 2007 . Shared with elmatador. Pours a nice rich black color with a small tan head that didn’t stick around for long.Hints of roasted nuts and chocolate.Had a creamy, medium mouthfeel. Finish was slightly bitter but quite enjoyable.Thanx to jjpm for this.

Feb 19, 2007 Bottle. Pours black with a tan head. Hoppy aroma mixed with some light milk chocolate. The flavor is fairly sweet with chocolate and caramel. Light to medium body. Highly carbonated that somewhat takes away from the flavor. Enjoyable none the less.
