Commercial Description:
A dark rich creamy ale. This is our version of this classic stout style. With its dense black color and velvety texture, our stout's flavor hints of chocolate liquorice and coffee. This ale is truly a meal in a glass.

(Bottle 65 cl) Pours a dark, opaque, orangey brown with a light brown head. Aroma of roasted malt. Medium body with lightly sweet, roasted malt, some fruit and some chocolate. Very subdued bitterness. Sort of an Impy Lite. 270607

22oz bottle. pours black with creamy tan head, appears watery. nose has baker’s chocolate and roasted nuts. flavor is really sweet chocolate, roasty, and licorice. mouthfeel is watery. carbonation is low. alc is well hidden. sure it’s tasty and it is rich but a touch too sweet and not enough roast, hops, complexity, and dark chocolate to be something special.

Bottle. Pours black with a tan head. Hoppy aroma mixed with some light milk chocolate. The flavor is fairly sweet with chocolate and caramel. Light to medium body. Highly carbonated that somewhat takes away from the flavor. Enjoyable none the less.
