Commercial Description:
A dark rich creamy ale. This is our version of this classic stout style. With its dense black color and velvety texture, our stout's flavor hints of chocolate liquorice and coffee. This ale is truly a meal in a glass.

Poured from a 22oz. bottle into a pint glass. The color is a complete black with a slight light brown head The smell is a conyac flavor to it. A little maple syrip flavor. The taste is of marmalade and a little chocolate flavor. The flavor of this brew is engulfing. While sipping it the arorma will tease your nostrals. The feal is surprisingly light for a imperial stout. Goes down well and is quite smooth. and light.

Bottle thanks to Cletus. Pours with a near black body underneath a medium sized tan head. Aroma of chocolate, toffee, cola, licorice, coffee and leather. Taste is chocolate, roasted barely, licorice and chocolate milk. Full body, creamy mouthfeel. A good, but rather forgettable Imperial stout.

A Mes rate. Bottle at home thanks to Ang.
I can barely be bothered typing up notes for this. It’s virtually identical to the Coffee Porter except with some more body. The flavour is certainly better, but not by enough to get excited. Mainly caramel maltiness with a hint of apple peel. Some faint wood and vanilla in the finish but erm... yeah, that’s it.

Bottle courtesy of Cletus. Pours a rich brownish black with a large brown head. Aroma is chocolate, coffee, malts, barley, roast, licorice. Flavor is chocolate, malt, roast, coffee, licorice, dark fruits, vanilla. Medium body and slick creamy mouthfeel. Alcohol is very well hidden. Decent Imperial Stout.

Cask@Julians, Providence. Not a huge fan of this. Green apple, flat, caskage mouthfeel. Flavour doesn’t really prop out at all. Green apple, some roasted malt, some caramel. Didn’t do it for me.

Fresh moderate malt aroma. Blackish color with a large tan head. Sweet malt beginning with not much bitterness. Very light palate.
