Commercial Description:
A dark rich creamy ale. This is our version of this classic stout style. With its dense black color and velvety texture, our stout's flavor hints of chocolate liquorice and coffee. This ale is truly a meal in a glass.

This beer pours out a dark brown with a medium head some nice lacing along the sides of the glass. It has a very woody and robust chocolate and coffee aroma to it. AS you drink it the taste is very similar to a porter. If i were to drink this beer with a blindfold on i would probably say that it is a porter but a little more watery. The palate is very intence with a lot of roasted malt and woody flavors that coat your mouth very well. But the palate duration is very short and fades rather quick.

22oz. bomber. Pours a deep, dark brown with a light tan head. Heavy aromas of caramel, roasted malts, and alchohol with hints if coffee. Flavor is of coffee, chocolate, toffee, and malts with a brown sugar finish. Mouthfeel is smooth and velvety. My only bone to pick with this brew was it could have been carbonated much more.

Pours black with a medium to small brown head. Aromas of chocolate, coffee, and some wood. Sweet malts lead to an alcohol burn. Nice beer.

The color was a dark brown. The head was thin, fizzy, and medium beige. The aroma was some roast and sweet malt. it wasn’t very complex. The flavor was some alcohol, molasses, and sweet malt. There was a strange plastic-like taste to it. The flavor was a little lacking as well. The palate was lively. The finish was clean.

Thanks bmartin. The pour is dark black, allows some light throuh. Pour is a little bit lighter than normal. Manage to coax a one finger creamy tan head. The aroma is a little woody, chocolate, coffee, a tad burnt. Not too fantastic. The flavor is milk chocolate, a smooth syrupy sweetness, cocoa, nutty, coffee, not really any alcohol. Lasting finish. Creamy mouthfeel, little carbonation.

22oz bottle, courtesy of a recent trade (jjpm74?). Thanks! Pours a dark brown color; light tan head with patchy lacing. Creamy milk chocolate and soft, toasty grains in the aroma. Medium-to-full mouthfeel: slightly watery, milk chocolate and roasted malts upfront; lacking some density; chocolate and toasted imperial stout with a relaxed body; medium, chocolate and roasted malt in the finish.

Bottled. A pitch black beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet spicy with notes of roasted malt, as well as lighter notes of vegetables and ginger. The flavor is sweet malty combined with notes of roasted malt, lending it a slight acidity and hints of bourbon. The alcohol burns in the throat.

Deep brown colour with a beige head. Light roasted bitter aroma with a light chocolate sweet note. Roasted malty flavor with a sour note.
