@dmacs UFC100 Gathering-I got as bonus in trade with mcox90, thanks–22oz bomber–pours a thin tan head and copper color. Aroma is bourbon, medium malt-caramel. Taste is bourbon, medium malt-caramel, dark fruit-cherry, alcohol, hops bite. Too much alcohol, too hot.

Poured a lightly hazy amber color with a small, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of caramel, vanilla, oak, toffee, toasted malts, and oxidized sherry. Taste of caramel malts, toast, light smoke, toffee, vanilla, and a dry, oaky finish.

Bomber shared by goldtwins. Deep brow beer. The aroma is sweet and malty. Loads of chewy caramel and a bit of toast and sweet malt as well. There is only a kiss of bourbon and a light vineous character. Sweet and sticky with a soft bourbon character. There is a bit of toasted malt and heavy caramelly character. Lightly boozy with a touch of light woodiness. Some nice components, but I’m not sure this actually works for me.

Bomber shared by goldtwins? - cloudy purple pour - slightly tart, tannic, oaky aroma - light hints of bourbon and red wine - the flavor has a light acidity, vanilla, mild tannins, loads of toasted oak, coconut - odd, but quite tasty.

Bottle courtesy of Gillard. Pours clear deep copper with thin off white head. The aroma is musty dank dark fruitiness with prunes, figs, dates and raisins to go along with a sense of black pepper. Behind those notes is a solid oakiness. The taste is smooth and thin with moderate oak notes mixing with bourbon, sweet dark grapes, cherries, raisins and plums. I get a mild tart berry note mixing in there too.

I’ll preface by saying this was a late night pour. Aroma was whiskey, malty and woody. Flavor was much of the same with some warming alcohol. I think I liked it ;) Would love to re-rate.
