15 DEC 07, Southeast YeHa. 22oz bottle. Pours deep dark brown. Nice white head. Aroma is sweet vanilla, cake batter. Flavor of bourbon, wood, vanilla and finishes with big bitterness. Slight flavors of smokiness. Cheers! Good stuff.....

Courtesy CaptainCougar, Orlando Christmas Gathering. Poured a clear amber with a thin white layer of head. Not a lot of alcohol or bourbon on the aroma. More of a general malty sweet caramel aroma. The taste is sort of dry, with some sweetness coming in on the finish. Not a lot of bourbon, but a decent scotch underneath.

Bomber from Alldaydrinker! Very simply a much lighter version of the AS BA Wee Haevy we rated right before it! Nose of caramel, oak, and light bourbon; hazy medium brown with a small off-white head; Flavor of caramel, vanilla, and a very light banana ester, raisins, and bourbony oak.

Bomber. Could this have any more bourbon in it? Probably not. Does Scotch and bourbon actually mix in some parallel universe? My advice to anyone that has this beer is for the love of God, let it rest for another 6 months. This ain’t no Avery but she ain’t cooked yet either.

The last one they had from down under. Darker amber orange, surprisingly good lacing and retention. Aroma is very bourbony which brings vanilla and oak notes. Caramel comes from the scotch ale. However, I got no smoke. Flavor is the same, medium bodied. Good flavors but where’s the smoke?

Pours a dark brown with faint white head. Sweet aroma of caramel/brown sugar and raisins. Medium bodied and overly sweet to me, blocking any underlying flavors in the brew.
